H. L. Lawson & Son, Inc. has made the decision to partner with Cadre' Technologies to further enhance our information technology (IT) platform. Cadre'is one of the largest vendors of warehouse management systems (WMS) to the third party logistics industry. H. L. Lawson & Son, Inc. hopes to have full system implementation completed by August of 07. This new system will enable real time inventory transaction recording through a true radio frequency environment. While we were operationg a state of the art inventory management system, the new Cadre' product will greatly increase our reporting times to our customers so they may account for the transfer of custody of their product. We are very excited about the transition into this real time environment. As always, we strive to be on the front end of technology for our customer's (and their customer's) benefit.

H. L. Lawson & Son, Inc. is celebrating our 70th year of rewarding business activity in the Roanoke Valley. Harry Leland Lawson started the company at the urging of Roanoke city officials in 1937. Through the years, and 4 generations of Lawson's, we have handled, stored, and distributed it all. This experience has evolved H. L. Lawson & Son, Inc. into a modern, progressive, experienced and productive player in the distribution logistics industry.

H. L. Lawson & Son, Inc. contributes to our society. We try to accommodate the city and special service organizations that we feel give back to the community. We help out by providing a variety of donated services to help in their effort. We are proud to be recognized as such a long term partner of the city.
